Frank
Taylor is an attorney with Taylor, Taylor & Taylor, Inc, in
Richmond, Virginia, and is the founder and tournament director of the
World's Largest Softball Tournament. He served as Central Virginia
A.S.A. Commissioner for thirty five years (1969-2003), and was
president of the national organization, the Amateur Softball
Association, for two terms of two years each (1978-1980) and
(2001-2003). He served as North American Vice-President for the
International Softball Federation (1981-1987), and wrote the
International Tie-Breaker rule that is used in international play
including the Olympic Games. He is also a member of the Central
Virginia A.S.A. Hall of Fame and the national A.S.A. Hall of Fame.
Ann
Taylor, his wife, runs the softball office located in Richmond at 6924
Lakeside Avenue and coordinates the spring/summer leagues with Henrico
County, Hanover County and the City of Richmond. Ann and Frank
also
organize the fall softball leagues for the same localities. Ann is
also a member of the Central Virginia A.S.A. Hall of Fame.
Hayward
Taylor, Frank and Ann's son, is an attorney with Taylor, Taylor &
Taylor, Inc., and assists his parents with the leagues and running the
World's Largest Softball Tournament.
